I have spent the last 25 years in the financial advice industry working for a number of firms, including large banks and combined financial advisery and accountancy practices. I obtained the necessary qualifications to become a pension transfer specialist 15 years ago and I initially focused on clients in the investment banking industry. However, I have since moved away from this area and now enjoy advising people from all walks of life with their pensions as I find this work more rewarding from a personal perspective. I believe my ability to connect and build trust with our clients helps us to gain a better understanding of what they want to achieve.
